I'm an Irish and English teacher from Co. Wicklow, but more importantly I'm a mum.

When I saw that fellow mammies and daddies in my community wanted to learn to speak Irish to pass onto their kids, Gaelscoil Online was founded.  

I've learnt Irish from beginner to fluent, and know that anyone can too.

I grew up in Wicklow and had always been fascinated with the Irish language.

The day after my LC exams, I headed off to the Aran Islands for the summer and there started my Gaeilge journey; from living and working on the Aran Islands, to studying at NUI Galway and then on to teaching.

I became fluent in Irish from learning real, practical Irish, the Irish that I needed to speak every day. And that's what we do here.
